Caitlyn passed away on the 23rd of September 2007 at the age of 9 after battling with cancer for a year. She was recovering from a bone marrow transplant when complications arose.
She had chemotheraphy from September 2006 - January 2007 after lumps found on her neck led to discovery of a lymph node that was diagnosed as cancerous. Doctors found a different kind of cancer four months later, and it was determined the cancer had spread into her chest, liver and colon.

DEARLY MISSED BY SO MANY,MOMMY'S ANGEL PRINCESS
I was just aware of this site just tonight (1/7/08).My angel
princess has left my side,3 months ago. I thank the person
who took their time out for my angel. Thank you for your love
compassion and care of just sharing my child beautiful face.
Caitlyn indured so much pain. It still feels as it just happen.
Losing a child is the worse heartache anyone could go tho-ugh. To this day,I have not been able to go though her things
She had a beautiful smile, so innocent. Tears flow down my
face everyday. Her last year,she played normal-just like
other children. To watch her,theres no way she was ill. Dur-
ing remission, her hair growed back like an angel's hair,
glowing blonde. Don't get me wrong, the sweet innocent
child did have a mean streak. She was the youngest in the
family & the smallest. So she was tough if she had to be. On
the day she left us, that was unexpected. One month in to
bone marrow transplant(her sissy was the match she
needed for her bone marrow)some complacations occurred.
The doctors and nurses assured everything was ok. On 9/22
07,she was rushed to ICU,& by the time she was passing away I laid next to her talking to her, how much we love
her,told her who was all in the room and it was full
of love ones. I had no choose, but set her free from under
my wing. I ask her to save a spot & to wait on me. So when
god calls me home,we could soar the heavens together. She
passed away on 9/23/07 at 3:50pm. She had so many plans
once she was release from the hospital. They was going to
have her stay at the Ronald McDonald's house near the
hospital, so she thought she was going to eat double
cheeseburgers all the time, but she left me before having
a chance. I know no more pain for her, but the pain I have
will never go away, intil the day we meet again.

When Caitlyns father called me and told me that Caitlyn was in heavin I thought No way.. this little nine year old was a angel her sister Courtney was her hero. I love her and wish she was here to make me laugh and I could tell her how much I love her and more... Sleep peacefully Caitlyn my darling..
